99 new recruits join MPS, take oath
They include 27 female officers and 51 male officers

99 new recruits have joined the Maldives Police Service (MPS).

The oath-taking ceremony for the new police recruits, was held at Iskandhar Building on Thursday.

High Court Judge Mohamed Faisal administered their oath, at the ceremony.

The 99 new recruits include 27 female officers and 51 male officers.

Further, 10 female and 11 male special constabulary officers took oath during Thursday’s ceremony.

The new police recruits signed their respective declarations, after they were sworn in.

Head of People Directorate Assistant Commissioner of Police Ahmed Abdul Rahman, Head of Workforce Planning and Management Superintendent of Police Sultan Ahmed Bishar and Head of Recruitment and Deployment Unit Chief Inspector of Police Hussain Shareef graced Thursday’s ceremony.
