Former Prosecutor General Muhthaz Muhsin was taken back to prison on Saturday, after being released from ADK Hospital.

Muhuthaz was admitted at ADK Hospital on July 22, to administer a steroid injection for a hip injury.

RaajjeMV understands that Muhthaz had been receiving treatment for the injury prior to incarceration, and has sought medical attention numerous times since.

He was admitted back in February as well.

Former PG Muhthaz was jailed following a guilty verdict on terror charges over the release of an 'invalid'court order, ordering the arrest of President Abdullah Yameen.

He was to be placed in the special protection unit, but was placed in the unit, famed as the ‘death row’ unit. Muhthaz is placed in the same unit that houses criminals he was raised charges against and sentenced during his tenure as a Criminal Court Judge.
