BML revises banking hours for last 10 days of Ramadan
Submissions made before 10am on April 2, 4 and 9 will be processed the same day

Bank of Maldives (BML) has revised their banking hours for the last 10 days of the fasting month of Ramadan.
According to the country’s national bank, their branches and service centers will be open for services between 10am and 12pm on April 2, 4 and 9. Services will be available from 09:30am to 12pm on March 31, April 1, 7 and 8.
This was done in line with an announcement made by the Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA).
BML revealed that their self-service banking centers across the country will provide round-the-clock services for deposits, withdrawals as well as transfers.
Customers will also get basic banking services through cash agents stationed across residential islands.
Further, BML will also be providing services to customers through the several channels of their contact center.
The bank revealed tha BML cheques, local payments, payroll and bulk transfers and international transfers via TT submitted on March 31, April 1, 7, 8 will be processed the same day if submitted before 11am.
Submissions made before 10am on April 2, 4 and 9 will be processed the same day as well.
Details of the process of clearing cheques of other banks during the last 10 days of Ramadan, has also been publicized.
