The Maldives Police Service (MPS) has sought public assistance to locate suspects linked to a hit and run case.

In a publication on Tuesday, the police institution publicized a video clip, showing a group of people at the scene of an accident on the streets of Hulhumalé Phase I.

The video publicized by MPS shows a woman who looks to have crashed her motorcycle into a private car parked on the road’s side, accessing damages to the vehicle.

Another individual is seen assisting her pick up the fallen vehicle.

Other individuals are seen stopping to assist them, before the woman is seen riding off.

MPS revealed that they fled the scene without reporting the accident to the police as they should have.

The public has been urged to contact the Hulhumalé Phase I police station on 9980062 if any information regarding the individuals seen in the video footage, are attained.

The police institution has also taken the opportunity to express gratitude for the generous assistance and support provided by the public in such cases.
