President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has congratulated the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Abdel Fattah Al Sisi, on being re-elected for a new term of office.

President Dr. Muizzu congratulated President Al Sisi on behalf of the government and the people of the Maldives for his re-election for a third term, wishing him success in honoring the confidence that the people of Egypt continue to have in President Al Sisi's leadership and vision as the President.

Underscoring the historical ties of friendship between the Maldives and Egypt, President Dr. Muizzu noted that they were built upon Islamic solidarity, mutual respect, and shared cultural values.

Furthermore, President Muizzu thanked the Egyptian President for assisting the Maldives in various fields, including culture and heritage, economic cooperation, education, technical exchange, and tourism.

The President concluded his message by expressing the desire to continue working closely with the Egyptian government to fortify the two nations' brotherly ties.
