President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has sent a message of condolence to the President of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping, following the earthquake that hit the Gansu Province of China.,
The earthquake caused disruptions to thousands of people, as well as injuries and the loss of hundreds of lives.
The President’s message expressed profound sadness regarding the earthquake that struck the Gansu Province.
President Muizzu extended the deepest sympathies on behalf of himself, the Government and the people of Maldives to the President of China and the Government, and the people of China, in particular, the families of the deceased and those who were injured.
President Dr Muizzu concluded the message by conveying his sincere best wishes for the success of the recovery efforts from this calamity.
