An individual has been left critically injured in a case of gang violence reported from southernmost Addu City.
The Maldives Police Service (MPS) revealed that a 30-year-old Maldivian man was stabbed in the gang violence, that occurred some time after sundown on Friday.
The police institution cited doctors at the Addu Equatorial Hospital (AEH) having revealed that the man is receiving treatment and is in critical condition.
Further details of the case of gang violence have not been disclosed by the police institution.
However, the case is under further investigation.
