Serious accident in R. Fainu leaves four injured
Four people were injured in a dangerous accident involving a minor driving a motorcycle that collided with pedestrians on Fainu island

The Maldives Police Service (MPS) has reported that 4 people injured in a dangerous accident in Fainu island of Raa atoll are currently receiving treatment.
According to the police institution, the accident was reported at approximately 8:23pm on Thursday. The incident occurred around 7:30pm in Fainu island when a motorcycle driven by a minor under 18 collided with a group of people exercising on the road.
Two young male motorcyclists and two men exercising on the road were injured in the accident. Among the injured, the two motorcyclists and a 49-year-old man sustained serious injuries. All four are currently receiving treatment at Ungoofaaru Regional Hospital.
The police institution is yet to disclose further details of the injuries sustained by the three individuals.
MPS stated that they have towed the motorcycle involved in the accident.
Further investigations are currently underway in connection with the accident.
