The case of a stabbing has surfaced in Maldives capital, Malé City.
The Maldives Police Service (MPS) revealed that they received the report of a woman stabbing a man with a sharp object near Kalaafaanu School, on Tuesday.
Further details of the stabbing and the individuals implicated in the case, have not been disclosed yet.
However, further investigations are currently underway.
Earlier in October, a woman was arrested and remanded under allegations of attacking an individual with a sharp weapon.
The 29-year-old woman is to have attacked an individual with a sharp weapon inside a shop on October 7. The victim of the assault sought treatment for his injuries, from ADK Hospital.
A video that circulated on social media showed the woman talking to the cashier at a shop that sells mobile phones and electronics. The cashier was seen showing the woman a phone, after she asked to see it. Afterwards, she was seen starting an argument and proceeding to attack the male cashier with a knife before running out of the shop.
