Maldives Police Service (MPS) has made several arrests in connection with allegations of prostitution.
The police institution revealed that they conducted the operation after being tipped off regarding prostitution inside the clinic, which specializes in Dhivehi Medicine.
Arrested were a 35-year-old woman, a 44-year-old woman and a 41-year-old man.
Further details of the suspects have not been disclosed by the authorities.
The operation was conducted jointly by the Police Anti-Human Trafficking Department and the Police Intelligence Unit, after sundown on Wednesday.
Further investigations are currently underway.
