President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has inaugurated the newly completed powerhouse and Fenaka office of Fainu Island in Raa Atoll.

The projects were inaugurated on Wednesday, as part of the President's tour of Raa Atoll.

The newly opened powerhouse on Fainu Island has a power generation capacity of 520 kilowatts. The powerhouse will provide a reliable energy source for the local community and help solve numerous issues the community faces.

This will improve residents' quality of life and support the island's continued development.

The Fenaka office building inaugurated by the President is a spacious and modern facility accommodating up to 15 employees.

Under President Solih's leadership, the administration has achieved significant strides towards equitable development across all inhabited islands in the Maldives. This includes enhancing the quality of life for citizens and empowering them to lead dignified lives.

During his visits to various islands, President Solih is officially inaugurating the completion of numerous projects and services.
