President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has inaugurated three more completed development projects in islands of Baa Atoll.
President Solih on Monday, inaugurated the extension of the Baa Atoll Hospital in Eydhafushi Island and the new powerhouse and Fenaka office in Hithaadhoo Island.
During his visit to Eydhafushi Island, the President inaugurated the completion of extension of Baa Atoll Hospital.
The extension of Baa Atoll Hospital was developed to address space constraints at the facility. The new addition features a six-bed dialysis unit, six Outpatient Department (OPD) consultation rooms, a waiting area, and a reception.
Following the inauguration of the extension, President Solih inspected the building and inquired about its services and operations.
Visiting Hithaadhoo Island, President Solih, inaugurated Fenaka office and powerhouse developed in the island.
The newly built Fenaka office and powerhouse of Hithaadhoo Island was developed with state-of-the-art amenities. The facility can accommodate up to 15 employees and is strategically located away from residential areas. The office was designed to provide a comfortable and efficient working environment for Fenaka employees and better serve the local community's needs.
The powerhouse's power generation capacity is 800 kilowatts.
The completion of these projects was marked as part of President Solih's tour of the atoll.
The President on Monday, inaugurated completed development projects in Baa Atoll Fulhadhoo, Fehendhoo and Goidhoo Islands as well.
Under President Solih's leadership, the administration has achieved significant strides towards equitable development across all inhabited islands in the Maldives. This includes enhancing the quality of life for citizens and empowering them to lead dignified lives. During his visits to various islands, President Solih is officially inaugurating the completion of numerous projects and services.
