President Solih has conveyed his condolences to the President of UAE, following the passing of his beloved brother, Sheikh Saeed
President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has conveyed his condolences to the President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, following the passing of his beloved brother, Sheikh Saeed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
President Solih conveyed his condolences to the President of UAE via a phone call, on Friday.
During the phone call, President Solih expressed his sadness at the passing of Sheikh Saeed. He conveyed the deepest condolences of the government and people of the Maldives to the royal family, government, and people of the UAE.
President Solih also praised Sheikh Saeed for his exceptional public service, which he noted will be fondly remembered by the people of the UAE. He expressed his hope that Sheikh Saeed’s dedication to his country will inspire future generations.
President Solih and Sheikh Mohamed highlighted the strong brotherly ties between the Maldives and the UAE during their conversation, and reiterated their commitment to strengthen the bilateral relations between the two countries in the future.
