The new extension building of the health center in Vashafaru island of Haa Alif atoll, has been unveiled.

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih inaugurated the projects during his campaign tour of Haa Alif atoll, as part of his campaign for re-election in the upcoming Presidential election.

The new extension building of the Vashafaru health center was inaugurated by the Maldivian leader on Thursday.

Contracted to Perfect Malafehi Maldives Pvt. Ltd, the new extension building of the Vashafaru health center features a public health unit offering preventive and promotive health services and an administrative space for managing and coordinating healthcare staff.

It also features a laundry room alongside a medical store which ensures the availability and quality of essential medicines and supplies.

As part of his Haa Alif campaign tour, the president also inaugurated the new football ground established in Dhidhdhoo island.

The new football ground is equipped with turf and modern amenities.

The government revealed that the establishment of the football ground mirrors the Solih administration’s commitment to maintain their efforts to promote sports and healthy lifestyles among the youth.

The incumbent administration has made significant progress in ensuring equitable development across all inhabited islands across the nation, as well as efforts to improve the living standards of citizens and enabling them to live dignified lives.
