Maldivian Hajj pilgrim dies while undergoing treatment in hospital
He passed away while receiving treatment at the Saudi German Hospital in Mecca

Another Maldivian pilgrim who was performing this year’s Hajj pilgrimage, has died.
The deceased has been identified as Ali Hassan, 72, native of Maaenboodhoo island of Dhaalu atoll.
The Maldivian Hajj pilgrim was in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to perform this year’s Hajj pilgrimage, through the Maldives Hajj Corporation.
He passed away while receiving treatment at the Saudi German Hospital in Mecca, at around 06:17pm (Maldives time) on Friday.
This comes at a time another Maldivian Hajj pilgrim who went missing was found dead in the early hours of Friday.
Deceased is Mohamed Naseem Ali, 72, native of Maakurathu island of Raa atoll.
Naseem's body was discovered near Jabal al-Nour, a mountain region in Mecca, in the early hours of Friday.
Further, two more Maldivian Hajj pilgrims in critical condition are currently receiving treatment in ICU as well.
