One killed in Hulhumalé car crash
The victim has been identified as a 65-year-old man

An elderly man has been killed in a car crash.
The Maldives Police Service (MPS) revealed that the accident occurred when two cars collided near Platinum Flats on Hithigas Road of Hulhumalé Phase I, close to sundown on Tuesday.
MPS revealed that one of the cars skidded out of control and crashed into the dividers set up on the road, following the collision.
The accident is to have occurred at around 05:47pm on Tuesday.
Three individuals were rushed to Hulhumalé Hospital following injuries due to the crash.
The deceased man, a 65-year-old, who was driving one of the cars, was alone.
The other two individuals involved in the crash were in the second car.
Further investigations are currently underway.
