An individual has been stabbed near the Villimalé ferry terminal.
The Maldives Police Service (MPS) revealed that they received reports of the assault with a sharp weapon, at around 03:30pm on Tuesday.
The police institution has also revealed that the injured individual has since been rushed to ADK Hospital for treatment.
Further investigations into the stabbing, are currently underway.
