No obstacle to road construction in Addu; minor issues are being resolved: Miuvan
Work on one resort is now underway under the land reclamation project

Spokesperson at the President’s Office, Miuvan Mohamed has stated that there are no obstacles to the administration’s road construction and land reclamation projects in Addu City.
Miuvan made the statement at his weekly press conference on Thursday.
As such, stating there are no obstacles to Addu City, road construction and land reclamation projects, Miuvan stated that minor issues raised in regards to the projects are being solved.
Miuvan said that four lines of the Addu City link road and the work on one resort is now underway under the land reclamation project.
Miuvan also highlighted that Minister of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure, Mohamed Aslam is scheduled to visit the city to monitor the projects closely.
Miuvan noted that the administration had to face various challenges while implementing major projects in the last three years. He noted the challenged faced due to the raise in commodity prices and the Russia Ukraine war.
