Fisheries Ministry signs with Fenaka to establish ice plants in Fiyoari and Madaveli
The Ministry of Fisheries, Marine Resources, and Agriculture has signed an agreement with Fenaka Corporation Limited to establish ice plants in two islands.
The agreement was signed on 30 January, during a ceremony held at the Fisheries Ministry. As such, Director General Ahmed Yamin from the Ministry signed the agreement on behalf of the Ministry and Managing Director of Fenaka, Ahmed Saeed signed the agreement on behalf of the company.
Under the agreement, Fenaka Corporation will be establishing two ice plants of 25-tonne in Fiyoari island and Madaveli island of Gaafu Dhaalu Atoll.
