VP Naseem officially inaugurates GP Clinic in Hulhumalé

A General Practice Clinic has been inaugurated in Hulhumalé.

The GP Clinic established by Hulhumalé Hospital in Hiya Tower 16, was officially inaugurated by Vice President Faisal Naseem during a special ceremony held for the occasion on Thursday.

Taking the podium at the event, VP Naseem stated that the incumbent administration of President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih highly prioritizes easing access to healthcare services.

Highlighting that the clinic established in Hulhumalé would facilitate access to primary healthcare services for the tenants of the Hiya towers, VP Naseem assured the community that the Solih administration remains committed to establish additional services targeting the residents of the neighborhood.

Shedding light on the benefits of inaugurating a GP clinic, VP Naseem asserted that the development of  healthcare centers and regional as well as atoll hospitals across the country, mirrors the Solih administration's continued commitment to enhance healthcare services.

Featuring a laboratory, nebulization, ECG, immunization, child development monitoring, and vaccination services, the GP Clinic is located on the ground floor of the Hiya Tower.

The clinic will be open from 10am to 5pm everyday except for the weekends.

The newly inaugurated clinic also features a pharmacy by the State Trade Organization.

VP Naseem toured the facility and inquired about the services provided there , from the staff, following the inauguration ceremony.
