The Ministry of Finance is seeking parties to construct housing units in three islands.
In an announcement, the finance ministry revealed that they are seeking contractors to build housing units in Komandoo island of Shaviyani atoll, Kudahuvadhoo Island in Dhaalu atoll and Fuvahmulah City.
The authority is seeking contractors to conduct the projects under a design and build basis.
According to the authority, 400 housing units will be designed and constructed in Fuvahmulah City, 30 housing units will be designed and constructed in Komandoo and 50 will be designed and constructed in Kudahuvadhoo under the project.
Interested companies may now submit their bids for the projects.
The ministry went on to note that MVR 2.1 million must be paid as bid security for the project to build 400 housing units in Fuvahmulah.
The finance ministry has decided to hold the opening of bids on February 8.
The bid security for the housing unit construction project in Komandoo has been fixed at MVR 155,000 and the bids will be opened on January 31.
In addition to this, a MVR 260,000 fee has been allocated as bid security for the housing units to be built in Kudahuvadhoo island, which will be opened for bidding on February 14.
Interested parties may participate in the auction for these projects.
A fee of MVR 500 has been set to participate in the auction.
