The harbor development project in Hangnaameedhoo island of Alif Dhaal atoll has been completed.
Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) revealed that they wrapped up the Hangnaameedhoo harbor development project on Tuesday.
The project is valued at MVR 32.50 million.
Under the scope of the project, MTCC carried out dredging and excavation work for a 6,363.1-cubic meter area.
The company also constructed a quay wall measuring 266 meters, a 204-meter breakwater, a 160-meter revetment and a ramp.
Further the company also installed streetlights as well as mooring blocks and a paved area measuring 1,330 square meters as part of the project.
MTCC targeted to complete the project within 300 days of signing.
The project was contracted to the company by the Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure on 29 December 2019.
Since inception, MTCC has been conducting numerous infrastructural development projects across the archipelago nation, in a manner worthy of praise.
