Two injured in an accident in Addu City

Two individuals were injured in an accident in Addu City on Thursday evening.

Eyewitnesses told RaajjeMV that a motorcycle had collided with a pick-up, with both the rider and passenger on the bike sustaining injuries. Both were taken to Hithadhoo Regional Hospital for treatment.

The pick-up driver was not injured in the accident; however, the vehicle was badly damaged.

"They did not sustain any serious injuries. However, there were scrapes all over their body", the eyewitness said.

Last week, a youth succumbed to his injuries, following an accident in Maradhoo-Feydhoo, Addu City.
