President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has urged Maldivians nationwide to embody the teachings of Islam.
He said this in an address to the nation on the auspicious occasion of the Hijri New Year 1444, on Friday evening.
As such, urging the people to prioritize their adherence to Aqeedah, the president shed light on the importance of incorporating the teachings of Islam in our life.
In his message, the president extended his warmest greetings and best wishes to his people as well as all Islamic nations across the world, and their people on the occasion.

He went on to attribute these qualities to the thriving Islamic empires that prevailed at the time.
