Minister of Foreign Affairs, Abdulla Shahid has sent a message of felicitations to Frederick Audley Mitchell, MP, Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Public Service of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas, on the occasion of their Independence Day.

Minister’s message read that he extends warm greetings and best wishes to the Minister of Bahamas, the Government and the people of Bahamas, on the occasion of their Independence Day.

He extended was greetings on behalf of the Government and the people of Maldives.

Minister Shahid in his message expressed hope to strengthen the bilateral ties between Maldives and Bahamas, especially increasing our joint action in addressing the special vulnerabilities faced by SIDS.

The Minister concluded his message by extending assurances of his highest considerations.
