Dhiraagu has signed as the Digital Partner for the “Addu Eid Festival”.

The Addu Eid Festival will be held in Addu Atoll Meedhoo this Eid-al-Adha.

The Eid festival will be held over a period of three days and will include a variety of activities such as kula majaa, fen kulhi, children’s evening fairs and an Eid show.

Additionally, an Eid tea will be held with the distribution of Eid gifts and prizes as well.

The “Addu Eid Festival” is an initiative, organised by the youth of Addu Atoll Meedhoo. As such, Director of Media and Communications of the organising partner of the festival, Hawwa Mohamed expressed gratitude to Dhiraagu for their continued support to youth-led events like this.

Hawwa stated that Eid-al-Adha festivities are an important part of our culture and reiterated how grateful they for the help Dhiraagu is extending.

Jaishan Hameed, Assistant Manager Public Relations at Dhiraagu highlighted how delighted the company is to be the digital partner for the Addu Eid Festival. She stated that supporting youth initiatives such as this which promote the communal spirit within our society has always been important to Dhiraagu.

Dhiraagu is also the Digital Partner for the “Maafushi Eid Ufaa”.

The “Maafushi Eid Ufaa” is being organized by the Secretariat of the Maafushi Council and will take place from 8-11 July 2022.

The festival will consist of different traditional games such as bodumas beynun, koadi nerun and maali parade. Other activities include a color run, waterpark activities and an Eid show featuring prominent local musical talents.

Around 7000 visitors are estimated to arrive in the island to participate in the Eid celebrations.

Assistant Manager Brand at Dhiraagu Naiya Shareef has stated that the company is delighted to be the digital partner for the “Maafushi Eid Ufaa. Naiya highlighted that Dhiraagu is proud to support events such as this which promote Maldives' cultural heritage and that the company hopes to continue doing this

Dhiraagu highlights that the community empowerment is a key focus of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy of the company. As such, the company has been providing support to different projects that create opportunities for the Maldivian communities to thrive. Dhiraagu continues to support programs and events that promote development in the Maldives and positively impact the society.
