The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Maldives, Abdulla Shahid has sent a message of felicitations to Christophe Lutundula Apala Pen'apala, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Democratic Republic of Congo, on the occasion of Independence Day of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Minister’s message read that it gives him great pleasure to extend warm felicitations and well wishes to the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Government, and the people of Congo on the joyous occasion of their Independence Day.
Minister Shahid also stated that he is confident that the relations between the two countries will strengthen and expand in the years to come.
He expressed his earnest hopes for the continued peace, progress and prosperity for the people of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The Foreign Minister concluded his message by sending assurances of his highest consideration.
