VP urges scholars to conduct nationwide religious education programs
VP extended his appreciation of the ministry for its efforts during Ramadan every year to raise religious awareness

Vice President Faisal Naseem has urged scholars to conduct nationwide religious education programs that go on all the year-round.
The Vice President made the appeal at a meeting held at the Islamic Center on Monday with the religious scholars and other parties who assisted the Ministry of Islamic Affairs in carrying out religious education programs during the month of Ramadan, 1443.
In his comments, VP Naseem emphasized on the importance of increasing religious awareness stressing on the significance of ensuring the programs are exciting and engaging. He also asked the parties to expand such programs to include the atolls.
Additionally, the VP extended his appreciation of the ministry for its efforts during Ramadan every year to raise religious awareness. He also expressed gratitude towards the religious scholars and other parties for their ongoing support and assistance with the programs.
Vice President Naseem noted that, unlike previous years , the ministry carried out additional religious awareness programs in the atolls this year, at the behest of President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih.
