High Commissioner of Pakistan to Maldives, Vice Admiral (Retired) Ather Mukhtar has conducted a visit to the northern city of Kulhudhuffushi.
The Pakistani High Commissioner was received at the Kulhudhuffushi Airport by Mayor of the city Mohamed Athif, city councilors as well as other senior officials of the council.
The Pakistani High Commissioner expressed his gratitude to the mayor and his team as well as the brotherly people of Kulhudhuffushi for the warm welcome and great hospitality.
The visit saw the Pakistani HC sitting down with the city council for discussions, where the potential areas of mutual collaborations were discussed.
He also held “excellent” interactions with the city mayor and his team, assuring to work together to achieve mutual goals.
As part of the visit, the High Commissioner of Pakistan also engaged in discussions with senior management of the health and education sectors, in the city.
The Pakistani High Commissioner was accompanied by his spouse during the visit.
The couple also sat down with members of the Women’s Development Committee (WDC) of the city.
They were given a tour of the city by Mayor Athif as well.
