BML unveils first USD ATM in Kulhudhuffushi City

Bank of Maldives (BML) has unveiled a US Dollar ATM in Kulhudhuffushi City.

The country’s national bank expanded its ATM services in the northern city with the installation of the city's first USD ATM at its branch premises.

Minister of Tourism and Environment Thoriq Ibrahim and BML’s CEO and Managing Director Mohamed Shareef officially inaugurated the ATM.

BML revealed that this new addition adds to the existing network of four MVR ATMs currently serving the community through two locations.

Providing round-the-clock access to foreign currency transactions, the USD ATM enables both residents and businesses to make USD deposits and withdrawals, along with other self-service banking functions outside regular banking hours.

BML’s CEO and MD Shareef revealed that BML is the bank for “all Maldivians” and that they are a partner in the progress of the Maldivian people. Further, he notes that every service the bank introduces and every change they make is for one purpose alone; to serve the people better.

The country’s national bank has strengthened its network of USD ATM services with the addition of USD ATM in Kulhudhuffushi City. The network currently serves customers in southernmost Addu City, the capital Malé City, it’s suburban extension Hulhumalé, Velana International Airport (VIA) as well as Maafushi alongside Kulhudhuffushi.

BML revealed that this strategic expansion reinforces their position as the leading financial institution in the island nation currently, with an extensive network of 39 branches across all 20 atolls, 100 Self Service Banking Centers, 158 ATMs, comprehensive Agent Banking Services, and advanced Digital Banking solutions.
