Maldives Police Service (MPS) has publicized the identity of a woman suspected of breaking into a house in Malé City, the congested capital of Maldives.
The police institution revealed that the individual is being sought in connection to a case being investigated by the Maafannu Police Station, linked to theft.
According to the police, their efforts to locate the woman to hand over the summons chit for the investigation have been to no avail so far. The family of the woman is also to have revealed that they were not aware of her whereabouts.
The police revealed that the woman has been ordered to present herself to authorities for the investigation, as mandated by law.
The woman in question, has been identified as 33-year-old Saleema Adnan, native to Kunahandhoo island in Laamu atoll.
She is required to present herself to the Maafannu Police Station at 10am on May 31.
The public has been urged to contact the Maafannu Police Station through 9660183 should they attain any information of the woman.
