The Non-Resident Ambassador of Maldives to the Kingdom of Cambodia, Mohamed Jinah presented his Letter of Credence to the King of Cambodia, His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah Boromneath Norodom Sihamoni,

The presentation ceremony was held on April 26, at the Royal Palace of Cambodia, Phnom Penh.

During the courtesy call following the Credential Ceremony, Ambassador Jinah conveyed greetings from the President of Maldives, Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and the people of Maldives to His Majesty, the King and People of Cambodia.

Additionally, Ambassador Jinah expressed the commitment of the Maldives to work closely with the Cambodian Government with a renewed focus on enhancing bilateral relations. As such, he highlighted that relations will mainly focus on promoting tourism, trade and other areas of mutual interest.

His Majesty, the King congratulated Ambassador Jinah on assumption of his duties as Non-Resident Ambassador of Maldives to Cambodia.

During his visit to Cambodia, Ambassador Jinah will pay courtesy calls on senior government officials of Cambodia.
