The materials required for the water supply system for the Water Supply and Sewerage Project underway in Gaadhiffushi island of Thaa atoll, have been delivered.
Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) revealed this on Monday, highlighting that the materials required for the water supply system have since been delivered to the project site.
Currently ongoing is the work the construct a parking shed, which is 95 percent complete.
Under the scope of the project, MTCC is required to install two pump stations, build a sewerage network of 4,070 meters and a 210-meter pumping main and outfall.
The project is valued at MVR 20.9 million and was contracted by the Ministry of National Planning and Infrastructure on 12 September 2019.
The physical work of the project began on 29 March 2021.
