VP Naseem met with and congratulated Al-Hafiz Ahmed Nabeeh
Vice President Faisal Naseem met with and congratulated Al-Hafiz Ahmed Nabeeh Abdul Gadir, a finalist in the Dubai International Quran Competition 2022.
The meeting took place at the President's Office, on Monday.
At the meeting, the Vice President urged Al-Hafiz Ahmed Nabeeh to continue in his efforts to study and recite the Holy Quran. VP Naseem described the hafiz as an inspiration to all young children.
The VP assured that the administration would continue its work to provide similar opportunities for the young who memorize the Holy Quran. With this he also emphasized the need to instill love and interest in the hearts of the young for the Holy Quran.
Al-Hafiz Ahmed Nabeeh represented the Maldives in the competition held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). His parents, who were also in attendance, shared their son's experience in the competition with the Vice President.
Dr. Ahmed Zahir, the Minister of Islamic Affairs also attended the meeting.
