The foundation stone for Hoarafushi International Preschool has been laid.
The foundation stone was laid by MP for Hoarafushi constituency, Ahmed Saleem during a groundbreaking ceremony held on Thursday, which was also attended by the Vice President of Hoarafushi island council, Ahmed Imdhah, senior officials from Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) alongside the company’s CEO Adam Azim.
The project comes under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative launched by MTCC.
MTCC revealed that the company aims to complete the project as soon as possible in a bid to fulfill the needs and dreams of the children and parents awaiting the services of the school.
The company also highlighted that they have been passionate about improving access and providing amenities for the development of education for children; the future of the Maldives, since inception. MTCC revealed that this has been the company’s culture, since inception.
MTCC went on to state that they have been closely collaborating with national and international volunteers as well as non-profit organizations in this important work.
In the long history of MTCC, the company has conducted multiple projects in different sectors, under their CSR initiative.
