President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih presented awards to the most prestigious winners of the 34th National Quran Recitation Competition.

The awards ceremony for the competition was held on Wednesday evening at the Islamic Centre.

President Solih presented the awards to the top winners in the categories of recitation from the book, recitation from memory, to the top institution and first-place winner from the entire competition. He also presented the awards to the Hafizes.

National Quran Recitation Competition, is a competition organized by the National Centre for Holy Quran. This year's competition was held virtually.

The competition featured six age groups and 1,700 participants from Maldivians living in Male', home islands and abroad. 98 of these participants represented different state and private institutions.
