First Couple departs to Singapore on unofficial visit

His last unofficial visit was in December 2021

The President and First Lady departed on Thursday

The First Couple of Maldives have departed on an unofficial visit to Singapore.

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and spouse, First Lady Fazna Ahmed departed to Singapore on Thursday morning.

The First Couple will conclude their five-day visit and return to Maldives on February 15.

President Solih and First Lady Fazna conducted an unofficial visit to Sri Lanka during December 30 last year. They had also conducted an unofficial visit to Sri Lanka on 20 July 2021.

He met with Sri Lanka’s President, Gotabaya Rajapaksa during the visit.
