A rotting body has been discovered from a house in Maldives capital, Malé City.
Maldives Police Service (MPS) revealed that the corpse was found inside an abandoned house in Mahchangoalhi ward of the capital city. A team of officers was dispatched to the region after receiving reports of odor.
The deceased has been identified as a 37-year-old Maldivian.
The body was discovered by officers at around 3:42pm on Sunday.
Police officers are currently active in the region.
