The accident is to have occurred on the Link Road of Addu City
One fatality has been reported in a road accident in southernmost Addu City.
Addu Equatorial Hospital (AEH) revealed that the victim has been identified as 59-year-old Hassan Ali, native to Hithadhoo district of the southernmost city.
The man was brought to the hospital at around 5:45am on Thursday and succumbed to injuries attained in the clash, while receiving treatment.
The accident is to have occurred on the Link Road, while Ali was enroute to Maradhoo from Hithadhoo. He is to have collided into a pedestrian in the Henkede Bridge region. The latter is to have attained injuries as well.
