A total of 41 Covid-19 cases have been confirmed in Huraa island in Kaafu atoll so far.
According to the latest figures publicized by the Huraa Health Center, a total of 41 coronavirus infections had been confirmed in the island up until Wednesday.
However, active cases are currently at 39, with two recoveries having been confirmed.
The island was placed under monitoring following the escalation of the Covid-19 situation, which provoked strengthened measures across the island. As such, the island community has been advised against going on picnics with large groups of people, gathering at residences as well as restaurants and other food outlets.
In addition to Huraa, monitoring measures have been enforced in Guraidhoo island in the same atoll as well.
