Vice President Faisal Naseem has been hospitalized after falling ill.

Taking to Twitter on Tuesday evening, Spokesperson at the President’s Office, Mabrook Azeez revealed that the vice president is currently being treated at Dharumavantha Hospital after his health deteriorated.

The spokesperson added that the vice president is currently in stable condition.

The cause of his illness has not been specified yet.

VP Naseem was hospitalized due to rising temperatures during February this year as well.

The vice president tested positive for Covid-19 during May 2021.
