Two more victims of an assault have been reported in southernmost Addu City.
Maldives Police Service (MPS) revealed that they received the report of the attack on two individuals on a motorcycle with a sharp weapon, at around 8:05pm on Friday.
The victims of the attack have been identified as a 27-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman.
This comes not long after the police institution reported to having receiving information of a violent altercation between two groups in the southernmost city, which left a 29-year-old man severely injured.
Police received reports of the gang violence at around 12:08pm on Friday, and two individuals are to have been wounded in the assault.
The police institution revealed that further investigations are underway into both cases. No arrests have been made so far.
