Maldives Police Service (MPS) is yet to make any arrests in connection to the altercation between two gangs that left two seriously injured in Addu City.
Police received reports of the gang violence at around 12:08pm on Friday, after an altercation between two gangs of the southern city.
The victim in the assault using a sharp weapon, identified as a 29-year-old man, is currently receiving emergency treatment at the Addu Equatorial Hospital.
The police institution revealed that further investigations are underway.
