A student has been critically injured in a dispute that occurred with another student.
The Ministry of Education has stated that, a student was injured amid the fight that occurred at Kalaafaanu School at 2:30pm on Tuesday. The injured student sustained wounds to his head and neck.
According to a reliable source, the injuries were very severe, as the weapon used on the victim was a scissor.
The student is being treated at ADK hospital.
While the Ministry of Education continues investigation into the matter, Maldives Police Service has stated that they received report of a fight between two students at Kalaafaanu School on Tuesday, stating that further investigations are ongoing.
