Maldives Immigration has stated that the upgrade work of their online portal, IMUGA is now complete.

IMUGA is an online application created by the immigration department to provide online services. The app was being upgraded from 31st July till 1st August.

Immigration announced that inbound and outbound travelers can now submit the health declaration forms required 24 hours prior to travel through the IMUGA portal.

Due to safety measurements taken in relation to Covid-19, all passengers traveling to and from Maldives are required to submit a health declaration form in which vaccination details are to be included along with other relevant documents.

Immigration further stated that those who have completed their vaccination and wish to enter the Maldives without the 14 days quarantine period and those who have not completed their vaccination can only enter the Maldives with a negative PCR test result, 96 hours prior to arrival.

Maldives Immigration also declared that children under the age of one must complete a quarantine period of 10 days before entering the country and those in home quarantine must do a Covid-19 test along with a PCR test before their arrival to the Maldives.

In addition, Immigration stated that Maldivians living abroad must complete a quarantine period of 10 days before being able to enter the Maldives.
