Seven individuals have been injured in a gang violence reported in southernmost Addu City.
Maldives Police Service (MPS) revealed that they received reports of the gang violence close to 6:30pm on Thursday and that the gang violence took place between two groups near the Children’s Park in Feydhoo district of the southernmost city.
Some of the injured individuals are receiving treatment at the Feydhoo Health Center, while others are being treated at the Addu Equatorial Hospital. The extent of their injuries remain unclear.
The case is under further investigation, the police institution confirmed.
