Ministry of Tourism has announced that they will be putting up 3 islands and 15 hectares of land from H.Dh. Vaikaramuraidhoo for tourist resort development for the purpose of further expanding the tourism sector in the Maldives.
Interested parties have until 13 January 2021 to submit their names for a virtual information session to be held via Zoom on Thursday, 14 January, and a deadline until 10AM on 7 March, 2021, Sunday, to be present at the Ministry of Tourism to declare their bid proposals along with tender documents.
The details for the islands and land put up for development are as follows:
- Haa Alif Alidhuhfaru Finolhu
- Shaviyani Kudalhaimendhoo
- Noonu Kunnamelai
- 15 hectares of land from Haa Dhaal Vaikaramuraidhoo
In order to take part in the virtual information session, participants are required to submit their names, email addresses and phone numbers to the Ministry of Tourism at [email protected] before 2PM on 13 January 2021.
In addition to this, the ministry also said that parties interested in purchasing bid books may download the application form from their website at www. tourism.gov.mv, and that they would be available from the Ministry of Tourism office at Velaanaage (5th floor) from the morning of 31 December 2020 to 4 March 2021 between 9AM and 1PM on working days.
