President Yameen postpones trip to Raa, Baa Atolls
Initially scheduled for 18th of this month

President Abdullah Yameen has postponed his planned trip to Baa and Raa Atolls for the second time.
His trip was initially scheduled for the 18th of this month and shifted to the 26th.
However, Raajje.mv understands that the Presidential trip will be carried out after the Local Council Elections in May.
Preparations to welcome the President to the atolls have been made. No reason had been given for postponing the trip.
When questioned over the status of the trip, President’s Office Spokesperson Ibrahim Muaz Ali said that the Office will reveal the President’s itinerary when it was applicable to do so. He had not commented on the delays on the trip.
