Maldives Ambassador to the Kingdom of Thailand, Mohamed Jinah has presented his Letters of Credence to the King of Thailand, Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua.

The ambassador’s credentials were presented to the King of Thailand during a ceremony held at the Ambara Villa, Dusit Palace in Bangkok on Saturday.

Extending greetings to the King of Thailand on behalf of the President, Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and the Maldivian people, Ambassador Jinah assured that the incumbent government remains committed to take the friendly and close relations Maldives and Thailand have enjoyed over the years, to new heights.

Ambassador Jinah is the first ever Maldivian Ambassador to present credentials to the King of Thailand. Diplomatic relations between both countries were established on June 21, 1979.

Ambassador Jinah, who has extensive knowledge and experience in organizational management as well as private businesses, was presented with his letter of appointment by the president on September 12, 2019.

He served as the Group General Manager of Green Paradise Private Limited, prior to his appointment as the country’s Ambassador to Thailand.
