A migrant worker is receiving treatment for injuries attained after falling from the third floor of a building under construction, located in the capital city’s suburban extension, Hulhumalé.
In a message to media, Maldives Police Service (MPS) revealed that they received the report of the Bangladeshi migrant worker having fallen from the third floor of Hulhumalé lot number 10527, while trying to plant pipes as part of the construction work.
The expatriate was rushed to the hospital for treatment and police revealed that the worker is not in serious condition.
Police revealed that they have launched the necessary investigations into the case.
